Salami and Franks

I made this recipe countless times this past month with the same results each time, there was never enough. The original recipe I got from a friend and I added the franks. It's simple, easy and delicious. Since there really is no preparation involved, I like to make it fresh.

1 whole Salami (not dried) cut into thin slices
1 pkg cocktail franks (mini franks)
1 1/2 c. Maple syrup
1 1/2 c. Mustard

Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs covered. I'm serving this tonight for dinner though not sure yet if I will leave out the franks or not.
Kuddos to F.P for the recipe.

  1. Hi Roizie - I make a similar salami (with either bison or regular) but the sauce is slightly different - brown sugar, dijon mustard & currant jelly - it is excellent for a BBQ - it is a very good sauce. Mira
